FLATED Canada Return & Warranty Policy

Returns

Changed your mind? FLATED Canada accepts returns for most items (excluding sale, clearance, and closeout items, as well as gift cards) within 10 days of receiving your order. A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to cover shipping costs and repackaging.

To be eligible for a return, all items must be unused, in new condition, and include all original manuals, accessories, and documentation. If an item is returned in used condition or cannot be resold as new, FLATED Canada will return the product to the purchaser at their expense.

To initiate a return, request a Return Authorization (RA) Number by emailing our Customer Service team at sales@expeditionupfitter.com. Include proof of purchase (original invoice or receipt) and complete the return authorization form available at www.flated.ca/pages/warranty.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at sales@expeditionupfitter.com or via our warranty page so we can resolve the issue.

Exchanges

For a faster exchange, return the unwanted item and place a new order separately. A 10% restocking fee applies to cover shipping and repackaging costs.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval status. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that banks and credit card companies may take additional time to post the refund.


FLATED Canada Warranty Policy

FLATED Canada provides a 2-year limited warranty for all FLATED-branded products purchased by the original owner. This warranty covers manufacturer defects only and applies exclusively to FLATED products.

What’s Covered?

  • If a defect is found, FLATED will provide the necessary materials and instructions for repair at no cost within 30 days.

  • If repair is not possible, FLATED may offer a replacement, a refund for the purchase price, or a credit toward a new FLATED product in the same category.

What’s Not Covered?

  • Damage to non-FLATED products used alongside FLATED items.

  • Normal wear and tear, scratches, accidents, modifications, or unauthorized repairs.

  • Misuse, overloading, improper assembly, or failure to follow FLATED’s instructions.

Filing a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a defect:

  1. Complete the online warranty form at www.flated.ca/pages/warranty.

  2. Provide a detailed description and photos of the defect (if requested).

  3. If the product needs to be returned, FLATED will provide a return authorization number, shipping instructions, and a prepaid shipping label.

  4. Include proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) in the return shipment.

If no defect is found or the claim does not meet warranty requirements, the purchaser will be responsible for return shipping costs plus a 15% restocking fee.

Liability Disclaimer

FLATED’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, refund, or credit as outlined in this policy. FLATED is not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
